Positives: The facilities are ok. The shopping mall is not as good as the one with Sheraton. However, there are some good restaurants around especially the street behind the hotel.

Negatives: It is close to the beach, lots of restaurants around. The room I have is with a good ocean view. The room is BIG and clean. The balcony is good. But some neighbors smoked in the balcony and is impacting us.

Positives: Location was great - right across from the beach.

Negatives: Layout of hotel/resort complex was Byzantine. One has to take an escalator or elevator to the lobby level where the front desk is located. To enter or leave the hotel requires two escalators at different locations and different yet from the elevator which only goes to the second floor. Too confusing and convoluted to get around the complex.

Positives: The staff was extremely helpful. Very clean rooms. They moved us three times during our stay because we paid for a higher room with a view. Fully booked so difficult for staff to move us. But the manager and staff were so accommodating.

Negatives: Our room was booked 8 months in advance, and the room we recd was looking at construction and next to the elevator. So very, very loud. Thumping sound continuous from the elevators. Be sure and book away from elevators.

Positives: Location. Walking distance to many places. Right across from the beach.

Negatives: Restaurants. Food at pool bar not good. Only other restaurant is an $80 plus buffet for dinner and a $40 plus buffet for breakfast. Walk to Dukes for a nice dinner. And a nice little corner restaurant for breakfast and lunchh and dinner. This hotel has no real bar to speak of.

Positives: I enjoyed the overall property, the location and the general atmosphere. The room was spacious enough for a family of four to move around and not be on top of each other, and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The bottom levels had plenty of shops, stores and resources in case we needed something, and my overall feeling is positive. We paid for the included breakfast buffet as part of our reservations. I strongly suggest you add this. This is the one memory from my trip that still haunts me, in a good way. Having coffee and breakfast on the deck, looking at the ocean. I am still not over it yet. Also, the restaurant next to the pool had a great menu and wonderful staff. Go during happy hour and just order what you want. The fish tacos and Kahula Pig Quesadillas were incredible. I also like ABC stores, and there were a couple on premises and about 10 within a few blocks. Enjoy that experience while you are there too.

Negatives: The resort is huge with two gigantic towers full of people. The swimming pool was smaller than expected and usually very crowded. This made the pool area a little negative for us. I was expecting larger pools or multiple pools to account for the number of guests. The hot tub area was almost as large as the pool, and was crowded at periods, but overall had more room. I didn't care for the check-in process. We had a rental van for the trip, and upon pulling in, learned that there is no parking lot, but a parking garage that was full by the time we arrived. The only other option was the valet service. Due to the volume of people checking in, valet and bellhops swarmed us and starting loading up carts, before we could even process what was going on. We have a 6 year old with special needs, and just fought 3 hours of Oahu traffic, so upon pulling in, we were not in good shape. That experience did not help. The bell staff was friendly and efficient but the situation just overwhelmed us. Be prepare to spend a lot per night for parking if you have a car, and more for valet service if the garage is full. That said, the front desk staff was very kind and polite to me, and offered valet parking to me for the same price as the garage. It was still pretty expensive but I appreciated the gesture. She was very sweet and kind, and answered more questions for me, later in my stay as well. So that did make the situation a little easier.

Positives: I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Waikiki and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and well-maintained. A special thank you to Grace at the front desk — she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth and stress-free. With our flight canceled due to the Air Canada strike, we had to book the room day by day, and Grace was incredibly helpful, giving us peace of mind during a stressful situation. The breakfast service at Shore Restaurant was also outstanding — the food was amazing, and every staff member there exuded positive energy, making each morning a delight. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Waikiki, and I look forward to returning.

Positives: Room was large and beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good and the wait staff attentive.

Negatives: Waikīkī beach is very crowded and we weren’t able to get beach chairs. The beach is across the street from the property. The pool at the hotel was very small. Also, the wait for the elevators was long.

Negatives: Two things: 1.- The staff tell you there is not space on hotel parking to charge you 70usd/night but on my room view I saw the parking was empty!!! that is very bad for that king on hotel. 2.- I lost one gold earring in my room and I fill out a form and not any feedback or response from hotel yet and it was a month ago
