Overall, the rooms are clean...
Positives:
Location and spacious beautiful rooms
Negatives:
Old furnishings, the shower and bathroom felt antiquated and the welcoming drink (wasn’t champagne) required you to go claim it, everything felt less like a hotel anticipating you but you having to do things to get the services. The bed was very uneven and felt old and slumpy.

Beautiful location and view, but overpriced

Relaxing and lovely
Positives:
Not much to like when there’s so many wrong things . Only nice thing about it was the friendly cleaning staff.
Negatives:
The room was super noisy, and as someone who suffers from noise sensitivity it was hell for me, the room would literally vibrate, when I went to reception to discuss the issue, the receptionist almost laughed at me when I said I have noise sensitivity, I guess they thought I’ve nothing to do but make stuff up, so for the whole stay I had to drink sleeping pills in order to get some sleep. To make it worse it was my honeymoon, so a bit ruined. Hotel is old, staff was unpleasant, it was that type of staff that would smile but look sideways at you, and when I had enquiries no effort to keep up the conversation, for example I asked if they have late check out, the receptionist says she wouldn’t know yet, so naturally I was waiting for her to at least say when would she know, instead of me dragging the information out of her, so it was just awkward silence after every question. Value for money is extremely poor, all towels ( room and beach) extremely old and smell.

Extremely poor performing hotel
Positives:
Room was lovely. Very airy and comfortable. The location of Lotus was ideal - close but not too close to downtown Waikiki. It was great to be able to walk to different beaches and just chill. The service was impeccable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The ability to text the concierge and ask for things was helpful.
Negatives:
Sad it was not a direct ocean view just partial. However the view of Diamond Head was stunning.
