Loved the location and retro look. 2 mins to the beach.Close to bars, restaurants, food trucks, rentals of all kinds.
We liked the pool area alot and the beds were very comfy.. They loan u beach towels, body boards, beach chairs etc to take with u to the beach at no charge. Just sign in/out.

Negatives:
Its a little run down, but we managed just fine. The sink in our bathroom sprayed water out at us when u turn the taps on and the toilet clogged easily. The kitchen had the very basics, but no dish soap or cloths provided to clean them.
It's a very noisy location, which can't be helped due to the area. Lots of nightlife , cars, trucks, deliveries. But we didn't love that every morning at 8am, the staff use leaf blowers around the property and just outside your rooms for over an hour at a time or more. We were woken up every day by them at 8am sharp. Would be nice if they started a little later. Decent stay, but for what we paid, we expected a little more.

Good location, Bus stop in a minute, Wikiki beach in 2 minutes. Neighboorhood is lovely, the receptionist was nice, welcoming, and happy to help. It was the cheapest that we could find in Honolulu, so I guesss this is what you can get for the price
Negatives:
There was no breakfast. Toilet was broken in the lobby. Generally the room was dirty, especially the kitchen utentils. Place needs a renovation.

The location is good. The price is one of the most affordables in Waikiki but that for me just says that Honolulu is getting super unaffordable

The installations are extremely old and not well maintained. The rooms are uncomfortable and the bathroom was very dubious. Also in the night the noise was unbearable

I didn’t get the chance to enjoy. Out of country with limited service and when able to contact there was lack of response when needing to make changes.

No assistance. Just automated responses. As a front desk worker of a hotel myself I know that’s there more we are able to do for guests. I was charged for two nights and a fee for nights I wasn’t able to stay and got little to no response when reaching out for help

Positives:
It was very clean. If you plan of visiting the beach, shops and restaurants or food trucks, you will be happy as you are pretty much in the middle of everything.
Negatives:
So much noise all the time, you can hear everything and the AC is very loud as well. I stayed two nights and barely slept unfortunately.
On booking, it says parking available... there is absolutely no parking on premises. The nearest FREE parking is at least 15min walk and that's IF you manage to find a spot.

Positives:
While our initial impression of this hotel was not great, it really grew on us quickly. The room was fairly basic, but it was clean, the bed was nice, and the bathroom/kitchen facilities were good. Add to that the location, and this is really a great value for money option (compared to other hotels in Waikiki).
Negatives:
Many other commenters have said this, and it's true - the building could use a refurbish. But for what it is, it is a good option.
