The Kahala is a wonderful hotel. The beach is peaceful and quiet. The ocean is gentle here.
Perfect for children or non-swimmers. The room is large and the bathroom is luxurious.
The employees were all friendly and helpful.
We also enjoyed watching the dolphins play in the dolphin lagoon.
Negatives:
I only had one minor complaint that the toiletries were all made in China.

I like the patio where I could sit and read.

Too many misbehaving children that were not being watched by their parents. I was knocked down by several children and the parents could of cared less. Luckily staff of the hotel came over to make sure I was ok.

I liked the Jacoulets in the hallway. Lobby was beautiful.

Rooms were dated with worn furnishing (but this seems common in Oahu). I mainly stayed there for the beachfront access, but the beach itself was a bit disappointing. It seemed like the sand was a thin layer on some sort of hard surface
