Positives: Location, it was near the freeway and stores
Negatives: IF I COULD SCORE ZERO I WOULD. DO NOT STAY HERE! IN MY OPINION PAY THE EXTRA 20 -50 DOLLARS BUT DO NOT COME HERE. IT APPEARED AS THOUGH MOST OF THE STAFF IN MY OPINION WERE NOT SOBER. They at unprofessional and unpredictable.

Positives: Nice staff, good location but no breakfast as advertised and no coffee maker in the room, a must!
Negatives: Omg..transient type people who were generally ok but I was awakened at 6:45 am this morning by a family, domestic argument next-door. However, I called the front desk which immediately handled it, and profusely apologized.

Positives: My room was clean, convenient, pretty, and had a mini kitchen! I didn't expect a real refrigerator, a two-burner stovetop, and a real sink! There was also a microwave - which had been the main thing I hoped for - and a coffee maker was available when I requested it. They also brought me bowls, mugs, tumblers, two sizes of plates and silverware for two. Then there was a skillet and saucepan (with lids) and serving utensils, even a hand-turned can opener. The picture I provided is after I made the bed the next morning - it was much prettier when I arrived. Dakota - a clerk - steered the luggage cart through the snowy parking lot and helped me bring in my luggage. She showed me to my room, even helped unload my luggage from the rack (I am disabled) then she explained about all the other supplies and brought them to me. It snowed even more while I was there and the staff was having trouble making it to work, so Dottie - who was on duty when I checked out - could not help me push and pull that luggage cart through the snow. But this time I was parked right by the front door. Then God answered my prayers and another guest arrived just as I finished emptying the cart and she wanted it for her groceries so I just helped her get it through a bit of the snow and I could get on my way. The price was amazing for all I got from it. Boise hotels can be very expensive, but for the three nights I stayed I paid about the per night cost at the other hotels around us. This hotel is maybe a whole mile from the airport and half a mile off the freeway. Excellent location for getting to other Boise businesses, sites, or entertainments.
Negatives: The heating/cooling unit in my room was very noisy and seemed to turn on every fifteen minutes. I am not a light sleeper but it awakened me frequently. I turned it down at bedtime but it didn't slow down. I left a note with housekeeping and I hope that is something that can be fixed. That said, it was about 7F during the night those few days. I was disappointed with the lack of snow removal even as I arrived. I never slipped, but it could have been safer. The next morning the contractor had just arrived with his snowplow - at 8am, at a place that caters to business travelers - when I was leaving to get to my conference. Seems like that is normal for the area, because the conference I was attending was in a fancier hotel and their snow removal wasn't any better. I suspect that is because guests at a hotel are there to sleep, snow removal is noisy, and the walkway is right next to the windows of the rooms. But at this hotel the worst I observed was clearing the wheelchair ramp - someone (probably another one of us thoughtless guests) had shoveled snow right between the parking space and the walk and most of the lower edge of the ramp was covered. I hope that after I pulled out of that space the workers, who were finally able to get to work as I was loading my car, were able to get out and clear that area before another car pulled in.
