The staff was wonderful! They cleaned up a bottle of salsa I accidentally dropped in the driveway. They were pet friendly. We were exhausted from a long day of travel from Portland, OR. The breakfast was wonderful!
Negatives:
Was disappointed cause lounge was closed and bad thunderstorm with flooded streets, so a nice dinner and alcohol beverage would have been nice. Just toughed it out til morning breakfast.

You can reach downtown in just 10 minutes by bus from the hotel, and it is at a walkable distance of less than 20 from the very center of the city. Besides, the hotel has a very nice swimming pool + hot tub combo that has made my day when coming back in the evening after walking + sightseeing or working. But, what I have really appreciated is the kindness of the girls at reception. They have been nice, attentive and very reachable at all times.

Location and staff that were there were great.
Negatives:
No restaurant in the evening, breakfast closed too soon. The furniture was REALLY dirty in the room, the box springs were exposed and super dirty, the easy chair was so gross we didn't even sit in it. The bathtub didn't have a plug, but it was so bad we didn't even bother to use it or the shower. The neighbors were just talking, and we could hear and understand every word they were saying through the pass through door. I am sure this used to be one of the best hotels in town. It is a shame it is so run down. The outside garbage was overflowing, and the entery looked very neglected, dead or no grass and cigarette butts on the ground. Management needs to do better. It really is just a neglected place
