The cleanliness of the rooms and the pool was open until 11pm.

The inside of the hotel was beautiful. The location is by a lot of restaurants.

The customer service sucked from everyone at this location, and I did not enjoy my experience for the money I had to pay. Everyone I spoke to displayed no empathy towards my situation of not adding my spouse to the check in list since Booking.com does not allow it. They double charged us for one room which was an inconvenience as well without an apology to follow up with it. Front desk is a joke, and the gentleman was very rude from start to finish whether it was over the phone or in person. I will NEVER stay at another Marriott no matter where its located due to the service I received from this one. They made me feel less than, and it was as if my concerns did not matter whatsoever to them. Something as simple as adding my spouse to the check in due to me being at work and I am unable to check in. He had our children with them and they would not accommodate us despite having proof that we added him to the check in list and Booking.com calling in my place letting them know he was added as well but since their system didn't see it they didn't accommodate us. I have never experienced anything like this ever when I travel, and I am just happy it was for one day instead of multiple since we live in Chicago. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone of color. Maybe if I was white I would've been given better service by this establishment.

Property was great. Nice lobby, bar/ restaurant area comfortable nice room

This was beyond their control. Power outage from early morning until early afternoon.
So pretty chilly until heat came back on
Only thing I recommend is for emergency lights in the room hallways- the lobby and the room had emergency lighting but one had to use a flashlight in the hallways- very unsafe!

It mentioned having a restaurant but really wasn't. I like the Starbucks however. Also I asked for bottled water and the staff stated she would have to check if I was Elite status in order to get it free, which I thought was weird.
