The rooms were old, in desperate need of maintenance and furniture and linen replacement. The heating units bang and clang all through the night (we had two rooms). the bathroom tile is stone look but not sealed so there’s mould/black grime in the holes and crevices. There were broken blinds, leaking windows, scratched up and not polished wood furniture, and we found dirty socks on the floor in the closet meaning questionable cleaning.
The bar and restaurant were good (although expensive for a bar), the High Tea was mass produced and an embarrassment for a high end establishment charging $78 per person for stale sandwiches and scones.

Furniture in our room had holes! Closet Door was difficult to open! Coffee table almost collapsed it was so old! The OLD heater system was Loud!
