One of the rooms was an end suite and it was great. The bartender was wonderful.
Negatives:
When we arrived we were told they overbooked. One of the rooms was upgraded and one of the rooms was downgraded due to the hotel overbooking. It caused some stress for our group of people. We heard the same story the next day being told to others checking in. The hotel had tons of kids in the bar area which was less than pleasing to us.

The large windows overlooking the Mississippi River. Art on the walls are very nice. Room seemed modern and clean. The breakfast was great.
Negatives:
TV did not work; we could hear everything in the next room and smell there cooking. An alarm came on around 12:45 AM in the morning, alerting everyone to evacuate immediately and do not use the elevators, by the time I got dressed and grabbed my purse; the alarm went off. Not sure what that was about?

The location was nice. We were there for a show at the Rust Belt so it was very convenient (except for the shuttle situation).
Great view of the river. The room was an average room king room. The staff was very nice.
Negatives:
I didn't like the broken and loose toliet set or the fact there were hairs on the sheets that were not ours.
We were disappointed that there was no shuttle to the show we were attending at the Rust Belt on Friday night, but one suddenly appeared for the Saturday night show. I even called before we got there to verify if there was a shuttle for Friday night and was told by staff one would be available. Thank you Lyft! It was a rainy night and we didn't want to walk or drive after a few cocktails.
And finally, our original reservation was for three nights, but we could not stay the third night. I called to change the reservation 2 days ahead of time within the cancelation time. I was charged more for two nights than the original three! I realize prices fluctuate, but going from $159 a night to $215 is ridiculous. Unfortunately, there were no other options close to the venue. I use booking.com for most of our hotels and little consideration on price would have been appreciated.
