Hotel Lincoln Inn on Route 66 and near I-55

Negatives: You have been warned. This property is in horrible condition and appears shut down for a time recently. We were met by a closed pool, a closed breakfast area with stacked up furniture, broken air conditioning, overgrown weeds, a giant no trespassing sign on the main entrance,and generally felt very unsafe. The front desk worker told me the property was recently purchased and reopened and they’re trying to make a going business of it. Which I can appreciate. But, Tripadvisor.com and Booking.com both continue to use years old pictures on their websites from when this property was once a franchise of a nationally known chain. Very misleading. Booking.com, you owe me a refund.

Negatives: Stay was great

Negatives: Went to the hotel to check in and there was nobody there to check us in. Just a note saying on break and to call Tanya but got no answer so eventually left and had to go find somewhere else to stay. Lost my money on this place and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Negatives: The hotel was run down with doors that wouldn't lock carpet and and bed runners were thread bare The wifi and TV didn't work. There was bed bugs

Negatives: I'm still waiting on a refund, says the hotel is pet friendly but isn't. So wasn't able to stay at hotel

Negatives: Room was literally falling apart.

Negatives: Owner would try to walk in rooms when people were gone. Cops had to escort people out. Only one towel and they threw a fit when you asked for more. Dirty. Rude staff. No housekeeping. Made us wait till 4 for check in. They kept asking when we were checking out and arguing. Moldy. Didn’t want us to use dumpster.

Negatives: Everything

Negatives: The room was dirty, the sheet wasnt even on the bed properly just thrown on and the blanket put on to make it apear made, pillows were flat, there was an empty roll of toilet paper on the wall and less than half a roll sitting on the back of the toilet, there was 1 wash cloth, 1 hand towel and 3 body towles, there was debris on the floor, microwave dirty, freezer frozen over and gross, the lock didn't work on the door, the slide lock where is screws into the wall was broke in 2 pieces so in turn we did not sleep well, there were sticky cup rings on the side tables and desk, the bath tub button was slick and the soap was crumbly/powder. And the air wasn't the greatest, it took hours to cool the room down.

Negatives: The property was run down with garbage in the back by the pool that wasn't open, a car sitting on bricks in the back of the property. Security was none. The attendant was off the premises multiple times, driving around in her car and when we needed something she had to come back and take care of it along with her two friends. The room that the attendant was staying in on our floor you could smell the marijuana in the hallway. When we reported our issues she had an attitude. There was no toilet paper in the room upon arrival and only one towel. the room was dirty. The tv didn't work and when she replaced it we had to use our own Amazon account to watch tv. Cable wires hanging out of the wall, smoke detector that didn't work, structural work being done down the hall that was very unsafe. This was one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. I don't know how they stay in business. I have photos that I will attach.

Negatives: Bugs everywhere. Undr the mattress in the carpet and shower. Stains on the sheets covers and carpet. No pillow cases keys didn't work and there was no attempt at breakfast like was advertised.

Negatives: Convient location to where we were. Staff was friendly and helped resolve the problems we had. .
