Delay in checking in even though it was 4 pm and the hotel was less than 50% occupied; terrible non stop leaky shower head; TV not functioning and staff/front desk not responsive.

The staff was kind and friendly.

The room was not clean at all there was hair on the shower walls, the ceiling in the bathroom was flaking and peeling. The blanket was a down blanket and feathers or fake feathers were coming out everywhere.

Property itself was fine for one night; a standard motel room clean and functional enough. The banquet we attended included a “cash” bar. They really meant cash as credit cards were not accepted.
The wine brand selection could not have been more amateurish.
Mostly Barefoot branded whites and reds, of no distinction, costing less than 8$ a bottle retail and here at the “cash” bar $13 per glass. Curiously, the motel “restaurant,” just yards from the banquet hall, were selling the same exact plonk crap for $7.50 a glass. The bottom line is it is hard to imagine how a Marriott branded “hotel” can offer such a poor selection of wines and still attract banquet business. Oh well, the evening proved at least one thing - it is impossible to drink a lot of terrible “wine”.

The lights in the room flickered in and off all night…. there was a buzzing noise off and on all night, possibly from the laundry room.
We got no sleep because of these two things

Great room and convenient location.
Negatives:
No room service during our stay despite several requests. The maids only spoke Spanish so it was a challenge to communicate.
