Negatives: The room was filthy! I am not exaggerating. I got in late, and was so looking forward to just getting into bed; however, as I pulled the comforter back to climb in there were big clumps of hair (NOT mine!) on the sheets! The bathroom toilet seat was completely broken, dirty handprint on supposedly "clean" towels, writing in lipstick all over the mirrors, dirt piles that were not swept up on the floor, several live bugs on the walls, and a coffee machine with NO coffee pot to name a few. This didn't take into consideration the very stained tub, the broken ceiling tiles, and the broken moulding/flooring in the bathroom. The manager was a extremely unpleasant to deal with--argumentative, very difficult to understand because of his thick accent, but also lacking basic integrity. He blamed everyone on his team, but also emphasized that he, himself, was not to blame at all. He assured me he would do a complete refund for my troubles and gave a hard copy of the receipt acknowledging this, but when the full refund didn't show up on my credit card, he tried to deny it and refused to do the credit, even though I have the credit receipt. Red Roofs are never fancy, but have always been simple and clean, when I've stayed in the past. This was a very disappointing experience. I would NOT recommend this place if this was the last available room in the city--sleep in your car before staying here! It was AWFUL!

Negatives: I don’t know that I would recommend…. I called to let them know I wouldn’t be in until late…. And then was asked a bunch of questions about who was staying in the rooms when I had already put in my reservation how many people would be with me. I don’t like feeling like I am being judged and being questioned when I already answered questions when making the reservation. Then when I answer the question about how many people I have for three rooms…. And mind you they are double beds, they try to say no too many people…. I’m sorry what…. And you just assumed they are all adults! Read your paperwork for you reservations don’t just make assumptions!

Positives: It was convenient, and clean. There was always hot water immediately when you turned on the faucet.
Negatives: It was old and needed some repairs. The space was small especially the bathroom. It would have been nice to have another chair in the room and a coffee maker.

Positives: The bed was okay. The bathroom was clean if you ignored buildup on edges. The location was convenient for the event I was attending.
Negatives: There was no feeling of welcome or hospitality. You have to ring a doorbell to enter the lobby regardless of the time. Upon arrival, I was told the phones didn't work. I was visually greeted by two very gross photos on the counter of how some guests had left sheets with a warning that there would be additional charges added for sheet stains. The first thing I did upon entering my room was check the sheets on the bed I chose to use. There already was a small stain on them. I also found a large amount of hair on the bottom sheet. The other bed was clean so I used it. The alarm clock did not work. The hair dryer did not work. I did not even try Wi-Fi since nothing else worked. I checked out at 7 A.M., but had to wait a bit for him to open the door. I was met inside the door with the curt question of what room I was in. He then took my card key and went into the back leaving me standing there without another word. I was about to leave when he stepped back out to call a young woman to go check my room, presumably to see if I had stained the sheets. He once again disappeared into the back, so I left.
Never again.

Positives: The bedding was clean and the bed was made up every day.
Negatives: The property really needs a lot of work. Part of the walls were painted -- the rest just dirty looking, including the stairs. We had a new sink but no hot water. Ice machine was broken. The owner/manager on the second day put his hand into the top of the machine to push ice out. Just said its broken. Usually you get breakfast but the manager said not since covid. Just coffee. No clock in the room; no tissues.
