Front desk staff and breakfast staff were friendly. Decent breakfast.
Negatives:
Floors were nasty bowing laminate. Sheets stained. Tv didn’t work as the power cord was cut off, tub backed up, mold and nasty shower curtain with priori hair and sludge build up from water back up.

Friendly helpful staff, easy check-in and check-out. Breakfast was included and open early (6am). No pet fee.
Negatives:
There were bright flashing lights outside all the first floor windows that go on all night and there is no way to completely block them. Strong frangrance in the whole hotel, and sheets smelled smoky even in a non smoking room.

Front desk was friendly and helpful, bed was comfortable.
Negatives:
Housekeepers were super loud in the morning. They were slamming doors and yelling at 7:30 am. They didn’t have any respect for the guests sleeping. Breakfast options were not good.

the toilet in the room was the old style It uses to much water to flush and it was the LOW style at my age getting off the pot was a real chalange also the actual toilet seat was well used and should have been replaceda long time ago

The so called general manager is not a very good person. I stayed right next to his room had to call the cops on him multiple times due to cussing, yelling and making a scene. He also put his hands on me and screamed at me.

The staff was beyond friendly but this so called general manager was the issue

The receptionist is very friendly, the room was great, and breakfast was good. Although the location isn’t that good if you don’t have a car you have to take an Uber or Lyft. Also, CyRide ( the bus system in ames) doesn’t go there unfortunately, overall great hotel except the location
