The pool area is definitely do for a remodel. Lots of breaks in concrete so tried to stay clear and water was freezing.
Our guess was the hotel is going to be going through a remodel soon. Lots of opportunities for better up keep and repairs.

Positives:
It was really beautiful to be overlooking a pond and there was no street noise.
I liked my room, it was really spacious and the couch was actually comfortable.
Negatives:
My room was right next to the outdoor smoking area and the smoke must have came in through the vents or something because the room really smelled like smoke. I should have asked for a different room because it really bothered me. But it was my only night away in a long time so I didn't want the hassle.
