Positives:
Nothing!!
Negatives:
Handicapped room number 111. No one who was on a walker or in a wheelchair could maneuver the bedroom or bathroom, which was dirty and very neglected. No hand bars inside the tub! Could not adjust shower temp without getting out of tub to do so!!! Dangerous for elderly who are not handicapped!!!!

We didn't get the chance to try to pool because we ended up cutting our stay short, but the room was nice and breakfast was very good.
Negatives:
One of the desk clerks was cranky. She may have been having a bad day.

Comfortable and convenient
Positives:
Considering that there is only a few places to stay in Abilenethis hotel seemed like a good choice. The location was close to the highway and had plenty of parking.
Negatives:
This hotel needs some serious updating. It has seen its Hey Day YEARS ago. The bed in our room is completely worn out-so much so, that my wife stayed awake the whole night in a chair. The plumbing in the room was awful, shower was terrible, and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom left a lot to be desired. The wallpaper is coming off the walls and the dust covering the walls and ceiling was disgusting. When my wife opened the curtains to look out the window, it was covered in dirt and mildew. This was the most uncomfortable accommodations we have experienced. We were very disappointed and left at 5am with a VERY unhappy spouse.

This hotel needs a major update. Stay in a different town.

The staff was wonderful. Thank you for making us feel welcome and valued.
Positives:
BREAKFAST WAS BETTER THAN AVERAGE---- KITCHEN EMPLOYEE WAS GRUMPY
Negatives:
BED MADE NOISE ALL NIGHT CRACKING AND POPING-- IF YOUR BED IS BAD ALL THE OTHER STUFF IS EYE-WASH. MAKES FOR A BAD DAY. THE BATHROOM HAD NO OUTLETS FOR NIGHT-LIGHT- SENIOR CITIZENS NEED MORE OUTLETS TO SEE AT NIGHT -VS FALLING OR LEAVING ON THE BATHROOM LIGHT THAT IS TOO BRIGHT AND WASTE POWER. THE STOOL WAS SMALL LIKE A POTTY CHAIR. THE OFFICE CHAIR -SKIN PELLING OFF AND STUCK TO MY CLOTHES. I WAS TOLD HOLIDAY INN WAS BUILDING A NEW PLACE ACROSS THE STREET--SO--I GUESS MANAGEMENT HAS DECIDED TO SAVE COSTS ON THIS PLACE.
Review
THE COST WAS TO HIGH FOR THE QUALITY OF THIS PLACE-SHOULD NOT EXCEED $90.00 PER NIGHT
Positives:
Hot breakfast good staff clean rooms
Negatives:
No it was all good
Positives:
The hotel was convenient, and the cinnamon rolls for breakfast were delicious.
Negatives:
Our check-in experience was difficult - the hotel had mysteriously given our room to another guest and had no other similar rooms (king no smoking), so they had to put us in the family suite, with no remedy for the mix-up (their suggestion was to have us pay for the room at a lower price and then seek a refund from Booking.com, which sounded risky). Check-in took quite a while as they tried to figure out what had happened and how to remedy it. The room itself was dingy - the desk chair's covering was tattered and uncomfortable, and there was stain on the wall above the TV. The TV remotes were confusing and needed new batteries. Overall, the price seemed very high even before we arrived, and in retrospect it was extremely high.
