With booking.com I got the room cheaper than I would have just contacting the hotel itself.
Negatives:
The whole way outside the door was too dark, the room didn't have enough lighting, and our room was not considered pet friendly even though the hotel says they are pet friendly. The door at the end of the hallway was propped open by the amount and being visually impaired it was a hazard and the outside door to the entrance doors weren't locked at night. You didn't even have to use a key card to get in.
