Extended Stay America Suites - Kansas City - Lenexa - 87th St

Negatives: I didn't like walking into a dark room with power cut off. Had to flip breaker to get power. Didn't care for torn up furniture and vulgar comments written on the inside of the breaker box. Police were called twice to our room because they were told we were fighting and second time because my fiance was talking to loud on the phone. My fiance is completely deaf in one ear. He felt harassed and shamed. We checked out early due to how we were treated. And we were NOT fighting, it was the TV.

Negatives: The breakfast was pretty light. They had instant oatmeal and hot water but no cold cereal, milk, or juices at all.

Negatives: All you hear is the hwy, can't sleep at night, the wifi wasn't any good I was there on a business trip i coulf get any wifi. called the front desk 3 to 4 times that was no help could get anything done. Housekeeper just walked in my room without a knocking.

Negatives: They charged me an additional 100 dollars. They started I would get it back in 3-5 days. I only received 30 back. Can you please help me dispute that?

Negatives: didn’t know I had to ask for a coffee maker

Negatives: I was quoted a price online. When I got there to check in, I was informed that there would be an additional $100 "held". That WAS NOT MENTIONED IN MY RECEIPT. I have already been charged for the room I booked but NEVER even got to even nor wanted it after hearing about this outrageous "hidden" fee. It is a scam.

Negatives: There was a $200.00 room deposit that wasn't disclosed when I booked the room through Booking.com. I was told to go to the room and let them know what major damage that I saw. The bathroom door handle was broken and the front desk seemed to already know that, which they should. I nearly canceled the room but had nowhere else to stay. There were German cockroaches in the room, both adult and juvenile. They weren't scared and came out when the lights were on.

Negatives: The $200 deposit. And one week to return it! What's up with that!? The sunken mattress. Really? One 2 bath towels. 4 would be nice.

Negatives: Microwave was old and dated..analog system where I had to set the power level, then set Cook time...digital key pad was worn our. Had to make several attempts just to operate. There was trash left over from previous quest bread tie on refrigerator, water bottle under the bed. Dresser in closet had dust bunnies and other trash in place on each side. I could tell the dresser unit and under beds had not been dusted in a while...Blue painters tape holder railings on to bldg at the unit above on the exterior. Parking spaces adjacent to my room...hedges needed trimming I could not attend anything in the hatch of my car, because it was inaccessible due hedges being over grown. T last but not least my son could not watch the television in our room because there was no signal, there seem to be more 20 or so channels available, but we could only get access to one channel the whole 4 days of stay...I wished I had stay at the other Extended Stay about two exits down it looked newer...ijs
