Red Roof Inn Lafayette LA

Negatives: This hotel looked very sketchy as soon as you drove in, it looks like they have people living there permanently. The room was filthy and our sheets had hair and stains , toilet had pee stains , it had an awful smell and was not sanitized. I brought it to the attention of front desk attendant and he came in room with who it looked like to be his wife and a child it looks like theyre the ones running the hotel and cleaning it , he was being argumentative about it and we pointed out that we had just stayed at another Red Roof Inn in Jacksonville,FL and we had a pleasant experience and that this location and room was not ready or clean enough for people to stay. I didnt feel safe spending the night there so we left within 20 minutes of arrival. This hotel does not have amenities to be rented out to public people

Negatives: - Only 2 pillows - Bedding is thinner compared to other Red Roof Inn locations (less layers too) - Slow bathroom sink drain - Unknown substance/stain on toilet lid upon check-in - TV is complicated to turn on. Its not a simple press of a button, on/off situation - Room is smaller in size than other Red Roof Inn properties (specifically Red Roof Inn Hot Springs, AK and Red Roof Inn San Antonio - Airport, TX). - A guest left their trash on the stairs at night and it was still there the next day, along with more trash. The Standard King Room apparently doesnt come equipped with a refrigerator or microwave. The current cricket infestation in Louisiana has got us on our toes! We have killed endless crickets in the room, along with a spider and a roach. I wish I could post more photos, but the new format doesnt allow me to.
