La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Baltimore Downtown

Negatives: My room had a musty smell, and it seemed like maybe the door at some point had been broken down. The room was technically clean, I think there was just lingering essence from past patrons.

Negatives: I will say the staff was friendly and did assist with what COULD be assisted with, but one was overly helpful to the point of hindering the process, and often detaining us, most likely in an attempt to overcompensate. I'm going to break it down in categories of things that went wrong/ were wrong. PARKING: I looked ahead of time and it said that there was a parking deck diagonally across from the front entrance, but that there was no parking at the hotel itself. I looked up rates for parking, prepared for that, and planned on it. We get there, and the street the hotel is on is frankly terrifying. It's not well lit and the road itself got worse the further down we went, things were boarded up, people were being loud and obnoxious, police cars with lights flashing every few blocks. We got there around 8:30pm after driving for multiple hours. The parking deck in question was gated up and closed off. Needless to say, we did not park there. It was gated off the entire time we were there. My fiancé calls the hotel and asks where we should park, which should be a simple enough answer. WRONG. The man who answered the phone gave an entirely too complicated answer, and basically told us that he would come outside and physically show us. I wouldn't park my car on the street for two days in Baltimore in a NICE area, let alone here and the concierge attempted to convince us to do so. We were speaking to him and asking him where else was an option because I was not comfortable with that and a few people that were outside screamed at us "We're not going to steal your car!", which is the exact wrong thing to say to someone who has in fact, had their car stolen before. I pulled away from the curb and we found a parking deck that was a five minute walk to the hotel. With luggage, it sucked, but we made it work.

Negatives: The location of this hotel was in a very and desirable area of town. I wouldn’t leave my room to go to dinner. It was so bad. Adult men women hanging around out on sidewalk up and down the street. They look like drug users. I didn’t feel safe to go out.

Negatives: The access to the gym is restricted and you need to go to reception each time you need to use it. not bad but that's just about it.

Negatives: Breakfast

Negatives: Dirty, unsafe. Partitions at entrance, kids without shoes running around. Unfinished rooms with paint marks and peeling furniture. Windows wouldn’t close. Got out as soon as I walked in. It looked nothing like photos and should be removed from Booking.

Negatives: Location, dated, breakfast was ordinary. Too much plastic.

Negatives: Pictures of rooms were not as they appeared online. I got a King room and the room was super small. The shower barely worked. Had to fiddle w/ the knob. Room and bathroom was not clean to expectations. Sheets had stains.

Negatives: was loud had hard time sleeping load from out side and inside noise had to switch rooms cause of load people in halls and rooms as well as outside loudness and NO parking off. street parking only

Negatives: The TV stations all wasn’t available

Negatives: The tv was super small & to the eye the room seemed clean. But in the middle of the night I woke up to bed bugs! So I quickly got my stuff and went to the lobby I waited until 7am to speak with a manager who was very nice & gave me a refund. But there was also other guests complaining of bed bugs! So they really need to shut it down while they exterminate bomb everything & get new furniture that’s the only way they’ll get rid of the program. I’m not at all blaming the staff because you don’t have to be dirty to get bugs they can’t control their guests but it’s up to the owners not the employees and manager to fix the problem!

Negatives: My Dad's room was like a jail sail very small for a double bed room and hotel always smelled like Weed.

Negatives: That the pic that they post looks amazing but when u get there It's in the Hood and there is trash everywhere outside and alot of homeless people around and the inside pics are not what u would expect rooms was very small
