Considering the hotel's proximity to Washington, D.C., the room rates at all hotels in the area are inflated. However, the hotel's location is good - close to parking and the metro terminal. Therefore, getting to downtown is not difficult. There are many dining options nearby. The staff is friendly and ready to assist. The rooms are clean and spacious.
Negatives:
The view from my window wasn't the best because there was construction nearby. But this is a typical situation for Washington, D.C.

value and location for my purpose. lots of good options for a variety of food nearby.

i traveled with my pet. We had to stay on a particular floor. The overall smell of the 2nd floor wasn’t fresh. The carpet in the room needed deep cleaning or replacing.
