The bar in the hotel was great and staff were very accommodating. The actual location was good as well.
Negatives:
Well let see we didn't have towels in the bathroom upon arrival in both rooms I rented. The exhaust fan in the bathroom of one room 221 was not working and room 221 had a colony of ants that ruined our food. We did let the front desk know asap. The second room had tape on the ceiling. The fridge was dirty and there was a nail poking out of the fridges little hole where it was placed and was not cold enough. There was sand in the beds and the floor had not been mopped or swept in room 221. I was very disappointed in the effort by la quinta to clean these rooms correctly. Yes it may have been the end of a very busy bike week for all these places but still if they can't sweep a floor or spray for ants or even leave towels La quinta should hire more staff to ensure that after a bug event week they can maintain their good reputation.

Location. Right after the board walk ends. Parking was good. Breakfast included. That I could bring my pet on vacation. There was a potty area for pets with poop bags.
Negatives:
The room could have been cleaner. There was a pile of swept debris behind the chair. The sink and tub drained so slow. Was given 1/2 roll of toilet paper in new check in for 4 days. At the pet area at one point the poop bags ran out, but luckily I carry my own on my dog’s leash. The bed had some stuff on covers and sheets I personally wouldn’t have allowed a guest to have. A few of the towels didn’t smell fresh. No ac or way to turn fan on in the gym. Ice machine on our floor out of order. Lots of stains on carpets in hall. I assume from the excited guests?
