75$ a night hold on card for incidentals ( stayed 5 nights so almost $400 total) , which I found to be excessive and did not plan for. Front desk staff rude. Explanations given about the $400 deposit ( to pay for valet parking which I did not need or pets which I did not bring ) were completely irrelevant. $60/day valet parking btw is steep and there is nowhere else to park. I was told literally that staff has no idea what are booking.com terms and if the exuberant deposit is not mentioned in the booking the hotel cannot be held accountable for third party sellers misinforming clients. So much for service. The hotel is further from Seaport than we thought and area is one huge construction zone, so first 10 minutes in the waterfront direction are construction zone walking. The standard Hampton breakfast lacks veggies and healthy options.

Speedy check-in. Lovely staff. Comfortable and clean room. However, there were children running around in the room above for a time that interrupted sleep in the evening. Staff were immediately responsive.
