Positives: We stay at the Boxer when we go see a Bruins game. This particular stay we asked to be placed on the same floor as our friends. It didn't end up happening, but they got us only a floor above them, and the staff was amazing at trying to work things out for us, even let us hang in the bar and grab a drink before it officially opened for the day!
Boxer for the win!
Positives: Great location, friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms! very welcoming!
Negatives: Our rooms didn’t get cleaned every day, but in the room it says to leave your towels on the floor and they will be replaced, but they weren’t, so if staying just ask for this as a daily service.
overall, excellent stay. We loved...
Positives: close to TD Garden and other attractions.
Negatives: A/C didn’t work, the room was too small for a deluxe king room ( i had to shimmy my way around the bed), bathroom was too tight. the person at the desk said parking was included in my nightly rate and they lied to us and charged me $40 afterwards even when we asked again, ‘is it free’ and she said ‘’yes’’….. the parking garage to retrieve the vehicle was a 7-10 minute walk. there’s parking next door but she said we had to ask them for the rates. if we would’ve known we had to pay either way we would’ve parked next door.
I will not be returning.
Positives: Proximity to TD Garden was fantastic, staff was welcoming and offered a glass of sparkling wine. The room and bathroom was on the smaller side, but well equipped and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed, nice L'Occitane products in the bathroom, mini fridge.
Negatives: The bathroom door was very stiff and hard to roll on the track. The window shade was kind of a pain to move up and down. Some noise from the hallway and street, but not problematic. Parking garage was a little walk away.
Perfect spot for a TD...
Positives: Everything it was nice
Negatives: When you pull the couch put to a bed, it's hard to get to the bathroom! However, rooms are only so big, so I do understand, and we made it work and would definitely stay again
We got upgraded to a...
Positives: The room had a big picture window with a great view of the city streets. The bed was comfortable, as described. We enjoyed the in-room coffee, and the in-room small fridge.
Negatives: The hotel restaurant only had one person providing breakfast service on a busy Saturday morning. Inside the room I found the bathroom vanity was too high for a person of average height to use comfortably, well over 3 feet high. And because we often travel off-season, we have winter coats with us and we would love to see more hooks to hang coats near the door, the small clothing rack did not have enough room.
Very comfortable hotel in an...
