The rooms were very old looking. The plumbing infrastructure was terrible, we had to call a plumber because our toilet overflowed on the first use. There was room for a refrigerator but no refrigerator, which was one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. The ironing board cloth, the shower floor and the laundry machines were very old and very dirty. The reception staff were not friendly.

I was very disappointed with my room. It needed maintenance. The bathtub had a lot of chipped paint. there was dirt piled up in the corners. the lamp shade needed to be replaced. For $500 per night I expected more.

We liked the staff, and the location.
Negatives:
The beds were absolutely uncomfortable and we did not sleep well at all. Especially for the price of each room for one night and someone with back problems. We also did have to add an additional room onto our reservation, to accommodate all of us as the size of the double beds were very small. We did not expect the additional cost.

My daughter was at Mass General for major surgery. It was the more affordable, (still expensive) option, it was close to the hospital and options for food. Best choice if you are in Boston for the same purpose.
