Positives:
It is the closest motel to Lake Orion and I had to spend all my time in town. Lake Orion don't have many choices.
Negatives:
Air didn't work the knob was broke and the floor was in need of repair and uneven as you walk into the room. They just put an area rug over a bad spot, and it needed to be fixed. Last year we had the lobby full of pot smoke and it could only come from the office because no rooms near the check in area. I make this trip to Lake Orion about 3 times a year and now I need to look elsewhere. It never seems to get it right at this location for some reason.

Positives:
I have nothing good to say about this property. I did not read the reviews prior to booking. It was the only hotel near the location we needed to be in, and it was a major chain, so I did not do my due dilligence in checking the reveiws.
Negatives:
The first issue was the smell, the place smelled like old cigarettes and sweat. The lobby was quite warm. Got on the elevator, and it was so dirty and disgusting. Walked into the room where there was a hole in the wall, the door did not seal, there was a gap the size of my finger all the way around. There were hand prints on the windows and head board. There were two red drops of what looked like blood on the ac. There were hairs in the shower. The shower was painted over as if they could no longer get it cleaned so they just painted it. We arrived very late so we were forced to stay 1 night. We had paid for 2, but just did not go back.
