It was a great stay...

Positives: The room was clean and looked well put together. Lots of lights, duel temp controls, one for the bed side of the room, one for the couch side. There was a TV for both sides In theory great, however the tvs were fairly close together so watching 2 different things made the sound difficult to hear clearly as you heard both tvs. Picture quality not great either. Also, when you turned TV on near sitting area, it changed the channel on the other TV, (which was during a critical moment in a movie and my husband was so irritated!) Loved the Dove Cucumber toiletries. Nice fluffy bath towels. Breakfast buffet was nice sized and a good variety of dishes, however refilled infrequently and most items were not very hot. Coffee Station was great.
Negatives: Room was much smaller than expected, with crafty camera work, I guess. Did not feel like a separate sitting area as the couch and the bed were just separated by the desk being set lengthwise between the 2 areas. The mini fridge hadn't been turned on earlier when the room was prepared so it took a few hours when we turned it on and so our food and drinks had to be in a warm fridge for quite a while. There were no sheets for the pull-out sofa and when we tried to call down to the front desk, the button on the phone didn't work. It was late when we were getting our sleeping little one into bed so it was frustrating to have to go down to the front desk to ask for sheets, which was pointless anyway as nobody came out from the back room to assist me so we ended up using some of the linens from our king bed to cover the pull-out mattress. Housekeeping left the breakfast tray in our room for 2 days towered with plates and cups and what was left of our breakfast. It was fine, I suppose, as we put it out of the way, but it was perplexing and annoying that it was not removed during the daily cleaning of the room. We put more time into straightening up for housekeeping than they did for us. The pool was fairly warm, but on our second day we went to use the hot tub at about 4:30 or 5:00 PM, and it was ice cold. Another guest shared she went to ask the front desk to come and turn it on, but instead, they were given instructions on how to do it themselves, which they had done an hour previously and it was still cold. Someone came in to fill towels, a manager of some type I presume, and we let her know that the hot tub was still freezing after an hour of being turned on. She went to look at the equipment and stated that they had to empty it earlier and refill it and they forgot to turn it back on following refill so it was off up until the other guest turned it on for them. At 5 p.m., no hot tub.
