Positives:
Breakfast was like any other hotel. The suite was big enough.
Negatives:
The staff overall was very unfriendly. 1 staff member was nice but delt with the other one. Not willing to give extras. Asked for blankets, more towels so on and they said we had enough. Only to prove we didn't. Nothing was refurbished when used. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone unless last resort. To bad we were excited for our stay of 4 nights.

Positives:
Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. Smiles on there faces most times. Breakfast was slim picking however was good. And the juice machine was decent also. I was impressed actually.
Liked that we were able to stay in the room even though we were running a little behind check out. Parking was close. And so was nearby shopping and restaurants.
Negatives:
Bathroom could have been a little cleaner and stocked with more linen. And cups.
The chemicals used while cleaning and to scent the room nice was very potent. Very heavy. Had to open the window to air out most of the night.
Not sure if it was staff or guests however the floor above us were extremely rude during the quiet time hours. Was woken up a few times by slamming doors, loud voices and people walking heavy back and forth in there rooms. Made a comment to staff and the matter no more after a short time. (Thank you for that)
The refrigerator was very loud , but worked well. The pillows are a little hard and the beds didn't seem to be queen size more like double.
All in all however this was a very nice hotel to stay at and would stay again.

had great experience, Nalesh was great to me and made feel welcomed. Easy check in. Clean and well kept rooms. Great location. The next time when I need to stay in the hotel in Mankato, I will definitely choose Microtel hotel.

The hotel mangerial staff was rude and uncooperative both with us and with booking.com when we tried to cancel a third night before our stay began. We checked out after two nights and they told booking.com that we stayed for three. The sheets and blankets were stained. The towels were stained, threadbare and had holes. The hallway had an unpleasant odor.
