Positives:
room had a beautiful view - also liked that they offered Nespresso machine with coffee pods and half and half. Was disappointed that they did not offer tea (my partner is a tea drinker). bed was comfortable and linens nice. Lovely rooftop bar overlooking the city and a little museum describing the history of the Foshay Building
Negatives:
Tea in room or in downstairs lobby - They had a large pot of hot water but NO tea, when we asked the morning staff did not offer an explanation.

Downtown location is ok, but there isn't much around the hotel in terms of coffee shops or restaurants. There is a bar and a restaurant (steak house) where we had "expensive" drinks, attached to the hotel though as well as a "speakeasy which was packed!
The room and bed were very comfortable.
Negatives:
We arrived before the 4pm check-in and even though we were told there were rooms available and ready we were not able to drop off our bags in the room. We were offered a 40$ early check-in, which is ridiculous when there is availability! The front desk staff person was not friendly about it. This policy is making mw not want to stay at Ws.
