I did not try the breakfast, but it smelt very good! The location was excellent, maybe just one more sign off the main road (96 I believe it was). I loved going into the hot tube! It could have been a little warmer, but I'm expecting it wasn't at a high temperature to be safer for kids. Loved the living room off of the king bedroom.
Negatives:
The corners in rooms are always hard to clean, but I could see dirt still, especially in the bathroom. Again, I wish the hot tube was a bit warmer.

Breakfast was gross, construction everywhere, Jacuzzi had debris in it, no vent cover on the air vent, no late checkout, no office chair for the desk. We asked for one and got a dining room chair, hot tub was cold.

White Bear Lake is a great town. Always enjoy visiting. This box is asking me to type more about the things I liked. Unfortunately the hotel was in such a state that there was nothing very likeable about it. It looks like I've satisfied this box so I can move on to more important things.
Negatives:
The latch on the door to the room was missing. The door was not set properly making the deadbolt also inoperable. To actually close the door, you had to slam it. There was a slip hazard in the bathroom because the toilet was leaking from the shut off valve. The spa tub had not been cleaned from the previous guest(s). There was a ring around the tub as well as hair on the floor of the tub. The in-room phone was inoperable. No washcloths were in the room upon check in.

I tried 3 different rooms. The first room smelled like feces and the light did not work. The second rooms deadbolt would not latch, it was in the middle of a construction zone, and the light did not work. The third room had what looked like chunks of insulation all over the floor, was in the middle of a construction zone, and smelled of very strong paint.

They did not have a room for us. After receiving the confirmation email and multiple subsequent emails saying they were looking forward to our stay, we got there and they said the reservation must not have gone through.

Our tv's didn't work. A chair in our room was ripped to shreds. Our sink was plugged up. We were never offered money off for any of this for our 2 night stay or given another room. The woman we dealt with was very passive and just didn't seem to care.
