We were initially assigned a room on the second floor. I requested a non smoking room. Soon as we stepped off the elevator on the second floor it was a smokey smell. We opened the door to our room and a horrible smell hit us in the face. It appeared to be a smoke smell masked with something to try and make it smell better, but instead it smelled horrible. We looked at every door around us and each door had a non smoking sticker on the door, but our door did not have one. I went to front desk to address the situation. I was told that the only smoking floor was the 3rd floor. The 1st and 2nd floors were designated non smoking. Obviously this was note the case. We were reassigned another room on the second floor, which was much better.
