Positives:
The hotel was very clean. It was being remodeled and the room was new. Very nicely decorated and very comfortable. It was located 5 mins from the baseball field and had lots of restaurants close by.
Negatives:
When we checked in the lady was not friendly and seemed as if we were bothering her by checking in. She never asked for my ID or debit card. We got to the room and it was a king bed. ( I reserved 2 queen beds) it was me and my husband and our 17 yr old son. So we take all our luggage and go back downstairs. The lady tells me that their computers have been down for 2 days and when it came back up they were over booked. I told her I was sorry but the 3 of us couldn’t share a king bed. She starts typing on her computer and after 3 mins or so she hands me one room key with a number written on the card. Didn’t say a word. When I asked for a second key she just kinda rolled her eyes and made me one. When we got to the room the smoke alarm was making a beeping noise. We waited until we left for dinner and we stopped and told the same lady that it was beeping and the battery probably needed to be changed. She said she would take care of it. When we got back it was still beeping. My husband went back down and was told that the maintenance man wouldn’t be there until the next day. So we had to listen to the beeping all night long. We were at the ball field pretty much all day the next day and when we got back that evening it was still beeping. He went back down to the front desk and the lady told him it had been fixed. He said NO it hasn’t but if he came back from supper if it was still beeping he would take care of it himself. When we got back it had finally been fixed. No one apologized or anything. It was like they didn’t care that we had to listen to that annoying sound.

The remodel had the whole place messed up! The “hot” breakfast was in a non-air conditioned room with “hot” meaning a packaged breakfast sandwich heated in a microwave. This was after the front desk attendant bragged about their serving biscuits and gravy. Our room should have been discounted for the mess and lack of everything.

Positives:

Negatives:
The entire facility was under renovation. I paid twice what the hotel across the street was charging for a hotel that being worked on without mentioning the renovation during booking. Room wasn't clean or stocked with adequate supplies for the amount of guests allowed. Only had 2 towels for a 4 person room. Staff was never at the front desk....they were always sitting at a desk in back and you had to wait a few minutes before they would come up to the front.
