Travelodge by Wyndham Jefferson City

Negatives: Broken desk and night stand. Toilet sit was very loose. Website said that you had continental breakfast, but it wasn’t. Had to find other accommodations. Bed was way to close to wall, could not get in and out on that side.

Negatives: The rate was 182!! The 1st room I was in the smoke alarm went off when I turned on the heater. The 2nd room the faucet in the sink sprayed water all over. Then when I woke up there was a Beatle on the towel in the bathroom.

Negatives: I was traveling alone, and my room was on the ground floor. When I got to the room, I checked the windows to make sure they were locked and secure. The window easily slid open and wouldn't latch to lock. I asked to have my room switched because of the safety concern. Due to a busy weekend, every room in the hotel was booked. I asked to cancel my stay for both nights as I would find other accommodations. The front desk attendant needed to call her supervisor to see if it was possible to refund my card because it was only her second week working there. It feels like poor management to allow a brand new employee to work alone on a weekend when the hotel is booked to maximum capacity.

Negatives: No elevator. Carrying heavy luggage plus a handful of items up stairs is no fun.

Negatives: No coffee in the room No one at the desk when I went to turn my key cards in but there was a man sitting in the lobby area watching tv and having coffee. I waited for a bit for someone to come then the man asked if I needed a receipt Normally I do want the receipt but I guess at that point I didn’t want bother him so I said no and left. Later that afternoon I got a text giving me the prices for a late check out. That was weird!
