Positives: Excellent breakfast, one of the best I have had at a hotel. All staff were pleasant. The kids enjoyed the pool. The nightly reception/ cocktail hour was nice but too early to be enjoyed most nights if you're actually doing things in KC.

Negatives: Don't feel like the prices are very transparent. When I inquired about the price difference I was told the third party vendor doesn't necessarily know all the taxes that get charged. Uh .... what? Also didn't like that there is a parking charge that isn't included in the daily room charge. I get that this hotel is near an airport and they're trying to avoid people leaving vehicles sitting for days but why isn't it included in the room charge per day that you are staying at the hotel?
