The Hotel entrance & lower level was beautiful, the outside patio area was nice.
Negatives:
The floors above the main lobby felt like a furnace, the rooms are very outdated, and the first room smelled like pine sol & the toilet didn’t work, switched rooms smelled better but the king bed was so squeaky & and you couldn’t sit on it without making loud noises, and the couch the cushions sank into the sofa all the way down to the bed part when you sat down.
They stated they served breakfast that was not true, bagels, toast, OJ & coffee.
No microwave in the rooms, no USB plugs for your electronics..IT iS OUTDATED

the front doors were locked from 10p to 10a, felt secure, free parking. The staff was friendly.

The bed was not comfortable and noisy when we moved around. It looked like the inside of the toilet bowl was painted in an attempt to make it look newer. Our room had a major lump in the floor under the carpet. The entire property could use a major redo.

nice little patio, especially for a city hotel.
next to coffee, gas, art supplies, Italian restaurant 2 doors down.
good parking lot in back, little parking lot in front.
even a laundromat behind the building, Caty corner to the parking lot.

nothing the staff can control, it is Main Street after all. Fridays and Saturdays are nuts- booming cars; revving motorcycles; atv convoys, multiple venues
Main Street is also currently under construction for a trolley line till 2025

Check in was efficient. Clerk very friendly.

Facility is in need of a serious update. Room Was old and smelly. Only window was filthy. Mattress was the worst we’ve ever tried to sleep on. Breakfast was minimal. $100 charge was tacked on at check in for “expenses”. This was not made clear upon making my reservation and I don’t like this at all. Will never stay there again.

The room smelled like there was mold in it. Every time we walked back into the room, the smell hit you again. The beds were rock hard, and the water in the bathroom was only one temperature - surface of the sun hot. There was also an air purifier in the room when we checked in, which made us feel like it wasn’t clean. The breakfast was very lackluster, only offering bagels, toast, yogurt, mini cinnamon rolls, and juice/coffee. For the same price as other chain hotels, I would stay away from this property and spend your money elsewhere.
