Positives:
The room was clean. No carpet. That is a scary thing in a hotel, it means they had trouble keeping the bugs out of the carpet. Didn't like that. The rollaway was brought in and linens were provided with finesse. The night clerk was a very nice lady who seemed concerned that she would do something incorrectly. Actually she had had a difficult situation just as we arrived. She handled it admirably, then took care of us with a level of service that is commendable.
Negatives:
The breakfast was sad, sad, sad. We hopped over to town to eat before leaving hitting the road.
The room was clean but very long in the tooth as far as condition. Curtains has holes in them and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a duck's age. The toilet seat was not firmly attached, nice surprise in the middle of the night. We were unable to get a decent stable temperature in the room. For the amount we paid the quality of the room was poor, I say this as someone that stayed in hotels from central Illinois through Portland Oregon in succession over that week. Our average room cost was dead on this room (~ $125) but we had some very nice rooms, including one that unexpectedly had a jaccuzzi in it for $135, plus a hot breakfast the next morning. Though I aired the list (this is incomplete) with the manager/owner the next morning, who side-eyed me, his best comment was that I expected too much for the money, and his was on par for the area. Yes, dollar wise it is true, but I have stayed in 6 of the 8 hotels in town and his is not the least expansive, but it is the most disappointing.
Didn't appreciate the morning clerk giving me 'words' because "<SHE> is a vegetarian, and <I> am a barbaric meat eater." so... that didn't go well. All I did was ask about the little food shack in their parking lot.
I would avoid this location until they fail and it is taken back by the parent company... or if you are a vegan sub-continental who doesn't mind furnishings from the mid 1980's, have at it.

Positives:
Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Parking was right outside the door. Reception had difficulty with computers so not able to check in electronically but did manage manually. Staff friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
Update computer system to give relief to staff. Nothing else, all was as expected. Maybe a couple of choices for gluten free at the breakfast. There was one choice.

The rude owner who came straight to my room seen my guests & rudely told all but 1 need to leave this room... I politely informed him I checked in 2 adults & he screamed then all but 2 leave, since when at around 6-7ish in the afternoon can't people have visitors??? Then he accused me of smoking in the room cause my friend ,who was getting ready to leave , had just pulled a cigarette out of his pack but not lit it cause it was a non smoking room! Then tried to charge me 200$,150$,100$,75$,50$,25$,20$,15$,10$!!! All them charges was attempted to my card in a matter of 20 mins n this was maybe an hour after I checked out!!! It was quite ridiculous for real!

The computer system wasn't working which led to many problems. Had to be checked in by one single lady manually filling out forms and writing our personal information to be entered in the system whenever the tech returned her call for assistance. Checked in of everything in line took a long time. No fault of the single clerk trying to do everything. She was very polite and apologetic for the problem. We were given a room someone was already in and I walked in on a young gentleman who was just getting out of the shower!!! I screamed and closed the door and went back to the desk to get a different room. A terrible experience. No fault of the lady working the desk. The tech support would not assist her in a timely manner.
