Positives: The nicest thing to say is it seemed quieter than the hotel in another town the night before, but the air was loud & the fridge was vibrating the microwave sitting on top so it's hard to say.. The ice machine had pebble ice, but room it was in was filthy.
Negatives: Our non smoking room reaked of smoke & had burn marks in the bedspread & curtains. The towels & some pillowcases were stained. Pillowcases & sheets thread bare, bed hard & curtains so thin that the parking lot lights made 3:30 am look like daylight. Hallways also reaked of smoke. The breakfast bar consisted of orange or apple juice - zero food & this was well within serving time. Upon arrival we checked on the pool & hot tub which were out of service.

Positives: The shower was warm and clean.
Negatives: Bed was comfortable however no mattress pad, carpets were gross, cigarette burns every where. Non smoking rooms smelled like a fresh pack of burnt Marlboro Reds

Negatives: I booked with Priceline based on the amenities which were not there. No breakfast and pool was closed. I ended up canceling my booking. The credit card machine was acting up. The hostess was nice said she was a floater and didnt know the facility. I will never try any Amerihost again.

Negatives: The room was not clean. Stickiness on dressers; dirty glass lamp table; carpet needed vacuuming.

Negatives: The bed was old and uncomfortable. There were cigarettes burns on the bedding. There were a lot of stains on carpet and furniture. The pool was advertised but broken.

Positives: Nothing. We didn't even stay the night.
Negatives: The whole 15 minute experience was the worst I've had in a hotel. Staff member stood on the bed instead of getting a ladder to change the smoke detector because the battery was dying in the current one (which they knew about before hand?), the bedding had every kind of stain imaginable (blood, dirt, who knows what else), as well as cigarette burns in the bedding. The room was supposed to be non-smoking but absolutely reeked of smoke. Then when we left the same staff member followed us to the car and stared us down while we were on the phone with booking.com to get a refund. Absolutely awful.

Negatives: The room was dirty. There was dried food on the walls. I would never stay there aagin. We travel in the winter for 5 months. That was the worst hotel!!! The hall, the room smelled so BAD !!! CIGARETTES!!! They advertise breakfast but covid, get over that. Every hotel we went to had a great breakfast.. pool closed? They better clean up that hotel.

Positives: Was able to get the king suite like I had reserved. Room was decent, staff were all decent, and between the both of them they provided the little get away that we needed.
Negatives: Non-smoking room was unavailable due to plumbing issues, indoor pool wasn't up and running, and there was a $50 deposit at the facility that I wasn't aware of until checking in.

Negatives: It was an awful experience....I didnt stay!! I was at this location for 15 minutes or less. After checking in with the man that sat the whole time conducting business I went to the room. Upon entering the room as always I looked around making sure it was adequate. As I got to the bed I immediately seen several spots of dried Blood on the comforter. I immediately decided I didn't want to stay because it was obvious that the Amerihost does not think washing laundry is a priority or important. As I returned to the front desk and explained to the clerk he acted as if he didn't care if I stayed or not. I was told the manager would have to take care of my refund in the morning. Then got a call from the clerk the same night saying I needed to bring my card back for the refund because he ran it but never put it in the system (sounded fishy) The next day before I left town I went by gave them my info and was told when the manager had finished issuing the refund I would receive a phone call that I never got. I then call while in Kansas city about 5pm to enquire as I had not seen any funds returned I'm notified that they could not issue the refund because I used booking.com and was told by a female clerk that was very helpful and polite that I could've moved to a different room and continue to say the male clerk said he offered. The male clerk never offer me a different room an upgrade for the inconvenience or anything of that nature. So I didn't stay in a $70 room I paid for received poor customer service and had to then spend an additional $90 to stay at another hotel. I would NOT recommend the Amerihost Inn of Mexico Missouri to anyone.

Positives: It was a bed & a toilet thats all
Negatives: The room was dirty, the bedskirt was dirty, behind the doors were dirty, the trash can still had trash in it, the end tables had sticky cup rings on them, there was NO breakfast only cold coffee. The facilities were run down, smelled like smoke& the gentlemen who checked us in while training someone was well, less than kind to his employee. We shall not be staying here again. The Best Western farther in town rocks.
