We have stayed in Motel 6s for many years because we have a dog. This one in Ely was by far the best ever!! It was fairly recently remodeled and beautifully appointed. EVERYTHING worked and nothing was falling off the walls! Super clean too.

Very nice and clean, however, the male staff person in the office was exceptional. He called to check to make sure the room was OK, he got to know us, he was just super nice and kind. He suggested places we should go and eat and more.

I've never been to a motel before where no coffee was available even in the reception area. I received a notice that the lack of coffee was because of covid restrictions. This is December 2023. Of course there was also no microwave or fridge in room.
