Extended Stay America Suites - Mt Olive - Budd Lake

Negatives: Had to bring my dog outside in the middle of the night and the key card wouldn't work to get me back into the building or my room. Had to go to the front desk and it was not an easy task getting a new key.

Negatives: When arriving I had to clean BOTH rooms. The fridge was sticky and gross on the outside. The one shower had black clay like substance on it that I had to wipe up and clean. We actually didn’t use that shower cause we were unsure what that substance was. We found DRUGS under our bed that we reported to front end…. My kids could have died.

Negatives: The dirty rooms w bugs in them

Negatives: Uncomfortable sleep- the pillows and the bedding were both so thin and the front desk had to work hard to find us extras. The "included breakfast" is just coffee, pretty bad plastic wrapped muffins, nutrigrain bars, and oatmeal packs. The halls do not smell great. The kitchenette is cheaply made and if you want any plates, utensils etc you need to go get them from the front desk. For $80/night, none of this was offensive.

Negatives: Mold in the bathroom and smell in the room

Negatives: No ice maker, dirty floors (the bottom of my socks were brown from walking on the floors), breakfast was coffee, tea, packaged muffins and packaged cereal bars. It was also very disappointing that, for an extended stay you had to pay for pots, pans, dishes, cups, coffee maker, etc. I didn't need most of it but some silverware would have been nice for the dinner I brought in. There was not even a hair dryer in the room.

Negatives: there was a smell in the room that we could not figure out decor was dark and old hotel extremely dated

Negatives: No one knows what they’re doing around there. The morning after check in we went for breakfast in the lobby and the staff stated we needed “a special card to participate in breakfast and it should’ve been given to us during check in.” Ok whatever no breakfast for us. So I call later that day to extend our stay another day and the woman tells me we’re all set, payment is done, and there is no “card” for breakfast, we can go to lobby and grab breakfast during their allotted time. Ok weird. We leave the hotel and come back and our room keys are not working. Apparently this woman I spoke to is nonexistent, the reservation was not and will not be extended. What kind of place are you running here? They need to get their business in order. Would not recommend to anyone.
