Extended Stay America Suites - Red Bank - Middletown

Negatives: When we got there and tried to check in, my wife and I were told that we were being moved from a queen room (that we had reserved) to two double beds, and that the reason was because the hotel overbooked and we had booked through Booking.com and not through ESA directly. When we inquired further about the matter, the manager (Robert) was EXTREMELY unprofessional and unwilling to help — he kept trying to sell a double room as an “upgrade” and that he was doing us a favor by putting us in a double (to be clear, we had zero use for a double bed and it actually was a downgrade in our situation), and when we tried to explain this to him he would not respect our perspective whatsoever and even shamed us for using Booking.com (claiming that we were “being cheap” and “trying to save money” by using them instead of booking through ESA directly). Robert refused to work with us whatsoever or make our situation right at all, and the attitude and manner with which he carried himself was absolutely unbecoming of someone in a supposed managerial role. Had we known we would not have gotten what we had paid for, we never would have stayed here, and we certainly never will again (and highly recommend others do the same).

Negatives: Excellent all around had already wrote a lengthy post about how great to stay was!

Negatives: Very pleased nothing to complain about I loved I could do my laundry there and the room was really nice and the AC worked great as the refrigerator and the microwave comfortable bed and very quiet that's really important to me place where it's quiet how long would all the other great things see staff has done to me there!!

Negatives: Would have appreciated a coffee maker in the room.

Negatives: Bathroom a little tired but all good
