The room was not what was advertised as online. The carpet looked dirty, furniture was broken, old and rusty. Pool aera was dim and pool and jacuzzi look dirty. Breakfast aera was dark, dim lighting. Only coffee was available, juice machine and vending machines were out of order. No fruits of any kind. This Saturday was disappointing.

Room was dirty, sheets were stained. (couldn't imagine the horror of what it would have looked like under a black light). I did not sleep on the bed, but rather was forced to curl up on an uncomfortable chair. Also slept a few hours outside in my car. Toilet and sink had visible cracks. Safety latch on door was broken. Room was supposed to be non-smoking, yet it smelled like smoke and there were ashtrays placed in the room. Straws and other debris from previous guests were under the bed. I tried to reserve another hotel, but most places were booked solid due to the balloon festival. Never again!

All was good except for the breakfast portion. They ran out of product and were not in a rush to replenish the items they were out of. They said that they ran out and left it at that, with no further action on their part to make it right or take corrective action. This was at 0700 hrs, and breakfast runs until 0900 hrs.

Bad part of town, homeless people EVERYWHERE around facility, one even started a fire on the grounds behind a dumpster. I tried to call the front desk at 3:30 a.m. when I discovered the fire to let them know and no one answered. The place was not clean it was trashy and expensive for what we got in return.
No maid service unless you specifically requested it. just all around disappointed. Would never stay there again or recommend to anyone I know

Terrible Experience – Be Cautious!
First of all, when booking a room here, make sure to double-check whether you are booking a smoking or non-smoking room. This motel has a large number of smoking rooms. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not noticing this and booked a smoking room. When I went to the front desk to request a switch to a non-smoking room, that’s when the interesting part started—they played what I can only describe as a profit-maximizing game.
On the day of my stay, the price difference between smoking and non-smoking rooms was just $5, yet the front desk tried to charge me an additional $60 for the switch. It’s an amusing business strategy, but I can only assume their logic was that I had booked a room at a lower rate and they wanted to make up the difference, even though I had already paid over $200 for my stay at a Days Inn in ABQ.
To make matters worse, there were serious cleanliness issues. I found a cockroach in the bathtub, which raised major concerns about the hygiene standards of the motel.
Overall, a very disappointing stay. Would not recommend.
