The location was the biggest drawback. Very difficult to find hotel and the neighborhood leaves much to be desired. Not a safe feeling for out of towners. The check-in staff was not friendly and the check-out staff was downright rude.

It was very loud all night, indoor & outdoor traffic. Small tub near pool was not hot tub instead a whirlpool with cold water. I was very disappointed with staff. Breakfast staff was mumbling comments under her breath & not friendly. A heavy set lady from office pushed her way through breakfast room (during breakfast hours) carrying a large box over her head, she said whoever doesnt move can get hit as she walked past my daughter. And then she said in Spanish no estoy jugando translation Im not playing

The guy at the counter when we checked in was nice.
Negatives:
Both elevators were out of service, our room was at the top floor. Some mids pulled the fire alarm, forcing everyone to evacuate. There was only one person working that night when the fire alarm was pulled.

Before we even got into town, we were directed to their sister Hampton Inn & Suites because we could not be accommodated even though we had reservations several weeks. The new location ended up costing us an additional $69.00 for the night, even though we were told for our inconvenience the University/Midtown hotel would pay for the night.

Me and my brother traveled there for work , everything was going good till the following day . We was approached by the lady working in the breakfast area and harassed about not staying there and that we cant eat breakfast. when we showed her our receipt she still questioned us and wouldnt leave she just stood by our table . it was plenty people eating and she only singled us out . We approached the lady at the front desk as she proceeded to tell us how she sorry about the inconvenience the cook comes out and calls babies for reporting her
