the two nights we spent there the fire alarm went off twice. Guest weren’t even made aware why or is the building save to remain in. One of the alarms went off at 6 am the hallway on our fooor was filled with smoke. my boyfriend nd 3year old literally threw our belongings in our bags n ran out of there. Just to be told be staff that everything was fine. inexcusable! it was stated that cutlery is available but they had none. staff was never at the front in case you need something. They had this really thin blankets that they provided with bedding. it was just cheap overall.

there was no hot water and the window had a leak. i woke up with a puddle by the window. There were dry soap stains on the bathroom floor. The only reason I didn’t contact staff is because it was late and i had to be up early for work.

The place looked dirty and needed major updating. The refrigerator in my room was turned off and smelled terrible. I turned it on and it was so noisy I had to turn it right back off. The hallways smelled bad too.

At 7 am, there was a fire 6 rooms down from mine, flames shooting from a bathroom light fixture. The staff put it out and NEVER called the Fire Department, which is against he law. They told us everything was ok. Then at 9 pm, the fire alarm went off again. I had to run down the stairs with a 9 month old and a 4 year old, both crying. I was told, oops...sorry. Someone was cooking and set off the fire alarm. I asked for my money back and was told, well, I'll give you your money back if you leave now. Where was I supposed to go at that time? Everyone, except one man Syed and one cleaning woman, on the staff were very rude and not helpful, ever. The breakfast was absolutely a ridiculous bare morsel of store bought, packaged breakfast bars. I believe there was prostitution taking place throughout the day and night as I saw many men coming and going out of rooms, the same rooms...different men. The smell of pot permeated the air throughout the day. Obvious violations were everywhere to be seen.
