The location was great and they cleaned the room at decent times, none of that waking you up to have the room cleaned. It's when you were not there

The amenities were not up to par. The hotel was under staffed from the beginning. The bar, terrace and pool were closed my entire stay at the hotel. The rooms didn’t have trash bags in the trash cans, housekeeping would let the doors slam while cleaning rooms on the floor causing loud repetitive explosion sounds (similar to gunshots) in the hallways every morning. One of the front desk staff told me there was no pool or outdoor area in the hotel despite there being several pictures of it on the website and insisted that “there is no pool at this hotel” even after I went to the terrace to see it myself. One night the “security guard” was fast asleep and drooling on himself when I returned to the hotel around midnight. Overall it was a very disappointing experience as I’ve stayed at other alofts and was much more satisfied.

The location to the Brooklyn Tabernacle church was a nice walking distance. Especially being that the days were sunny and cool. The sweet Green restaurant at the corner is a great place for dinner if you are vegan/ gluten-free.
