The location was perfect for an event at the Gillman Opera House. The bar seating was opened up during breakfast to provide more seating at breakfast. Request for feather free pillows was met.
Negatives:
The room was very hot despite the AC set at 65. The window open helped a bit but since our room faced Flatbush Ave Ext, the window open turned the road noise from loud to extreme. The hotel itself was quiet. Caffeinated black tea (or something besides green pomegranate tea) for caffeine would be appreciated. The oatmeal was good on Sat but was lukewarm water mixed with uncooked oats on Sun. The price took advantage of the weekend, the location, and the events in and around the hotel — reasonable but very expensive ($1000 for 36 hours) and we would not have stayed there if it had not been literally the only option for us for a once in a lifetime event for my partner. Definitely not feasible for non millionaires in general.

Positives:
- The staff was great, very friendly, responsive and accommodating.
- The room/bathroom and sheets/towels were clean.
- Breakfast was included and was decent.
Negatives:
- The room is tiny.
- The thermostat doesn't regulate the room temperature very well - the AC unit blows in your face (it is right next to the bed) either the freezing cold or hot air, so you are never comfortable but hot or cold.
- The bathroom door that is facing the beds has glass in it, so if someone goes to the bathroom at night and turns on the light everyone is woken up by it.

Location is excellent. Very near Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge. Walkable from a lot of restaurants. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. Bed was very comfy and bathroom was spacious. Staff were nice and helpful.

Carpet in the room felt a bit sticky. Bring your own slippers for the room. Room is a little small.
