The location was perfect. Very close to many major highways and roads. Some nice restaurants in the area.

I made my reservation months ago via Booking.com. I arrived as 12:30am after flying into LaGuardia Airport. Upon checking in, the woman at the desk asked if I wanted to pay with the credit card on file. I explained that I had already paid, which she could did not see in her system. Only after showing her my emails showing confirmation of receipt of payment, and the hotel's automatically generated response thanking me for my payment and reservation, did she somehow notice that the funds had not yet been transferred from Booking.com. I went to my room and finally fell asleep shortly after 1:00am. At 7:00am the phone rang - it was the front desk. A woman said, "I'm calling because this room is vacant," which it clearly was not, as I had checked in hours before and was woken from a dead sleep. She proceeded to ask me several questions: "When did you check in?" "Did you have a reservation?" "Who checked you in?" "You had a reservation?" "What is your name?" "You're sure you had a reservation?" I answered all her questions, though quite angry that I had been woken up, when the only reason I booked this room is so I could get some decent sleep before traveling on to the event I was attending the next day. When she said she was going to need me to come to the office with my ID, I said, "Look, I just fell asleep at 1am. Do you mind?" She then relented, telling me that check-out is at 11am, to which I replied, "Yes, I'm aware of that." I was so furious after this, I couldn't fall back asleep, so I got up, showered and got ready for my day. I stopped in the office to check out and there wasn't even anyone at the desk. WORST EXPERIENCE WITH HOTEL STAFF EVER!
