Location - good, centrally located for my purpose of travel in Manhattan
Service - what I like about the service and the one that really stand out and gearing my decision to return to hotel is the concierge person by the name of Romeo Jefferson. He greets everyone that walk in and out of the hotel glass door whenever he is on duty and I observed this during my stay there and during the period when Romeo were there. I first met Romeo during my first stay at the hotel in January 2023, as always, he opened up the door and greets us while we were waiting for the taxi and he started the conversation by asking us questions as you would normally ask as concierge and he was very friendly and down to earth with his big smile and his willingness to help. He is definitely reserved the promotion and should be an employee of the month for each consecutive month.
I do hope the management of the hotel take notice of this review especially Mr Simon Chapman, the general manager as he saw me dropping of a bottle of wine to Romeo as token of appreciation for his friendliness. The wine I brought from Australia was supposed to be for someone else but I guess Romeo deserved it more.
Negatives:
I encountered the phone at the room not working during my stay and also I reported about bulk head light not working to the reception but it has not been fixed until we departed from our room 4 days later.
