The location was very good and easily accessible from the airport via bus.
Room was comfortable and came with a robe and slippers you can wear to the bathroom.
Bathrooms are shared and down the hall from room, but usually clean and available.
Free bike rental was useful.
Negatives:
Sometimes the bathrooms were not available, and it was inconvenient to have to walk to find another one.
There are no stairs to the rooms so I had to wait for the elevator to get to my second floor room.

The Lexington is a great location in NYC, walkable from most tourist attractions. It felt safe walking around at night, despite the construction around the hotel area. The hotel lobby is inviting and pleasant. The decor is charming. Staff at the front desk was very helpful and attended to all our questions and needs. Water pressure in the bathroom was great.
Negatives:
The room was spacious (per NYC standards) but the bathroom was claustrophobic and tiny. Breakfast staff gave us a hard time because we had paid for 3 people (1 adult + 2 kids) but they insisted that the complementary breakfast only covered 2 people per room so I would have to pay $35 extra for another kid. I had to get this taken care of by the front desk staff who agreed that the 2nd kid breakfast should be comped. Plastic cutlery seemed a little tacky for this kind of hotel.

I loved the atmosphere of the hotel. They were nice and cozy and very clean.
Negatives:
I know that this could have been my own misunderstanding, but I thought that with the rate we chose, we had breakfast included both days. That is actually the reason I chose this hotel because it offered breakfast.
We were denied breakfast unless we paid $80 US for 1 meal.
I know there was another guest that had the exact same "misunderstanding"
But it was a bit disappointing.

Positives:
The location is ideal, right in Manhattan, close to Times Square, a metro station, and Central Park. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfast is excellent. Complimentary water bottles are available at reception, and the staff is very helpful.
Negatives:
The beds could have been larger, and the issue with the toilet flush sensor was never resolved during our 9-day stay. Additionally, on the last day, we were charged $12 to store two bags and two backpacks in the hotel's storage room.
