Negatives: Front of house staff on duty lacked a bit of direction. No motivation and impossible to get a drink or snack at the bar even when notified. This does not include housekeeping staff who worked very hard and do a great job. Overall a great stay in this hotel.

Negatives: Same breakfast daily. Staff doesn’t bother to revert on the feedback left on the chat. I was initially charged 5 different amounts on my card. Since I did not receive any feedback on d messages left I had to call the hotel personally and speak. They had no clue what was going on. I tried to explain have been charged twice for the amounts. Have shared screen shots as well. However finally after 15 mins she just said I should not have been charged for breakfast and we will reverse that charge. This has been done today. However they have yet charged me twice for the stay. AED 6k on d day of arrival and additionally AED 7.5k on date of departure. I need to have the last amount reversed as well. And hopefully someone will revert to this message.

Positives: Location was perfect, and room was clean and tidy. The staff that took care of our bags was the only person that was friendly and personable.
Negatives: The water in the shower was either scalding hot or very cold. You could not adjust it. Very hazardous for older people. We ended up taking cold showers. Then the hair dryer did not work after I got out of the shower so I had to attend a night at the Theater with wet hair combed and pulled back in a pony tail with a clip. Then the bathroom sink handles were loose and it would only deliver scalding hot water to wash your face or brush your teeth. For $500 per night...you sure as hell expect more from a Hilton DoubleTree in NYC.
