Positives: Room was bigger than expected for a Manhattan boutique hotel. I was really po'd about the $30 charge but the breakfast each morning was more convenient than I thought it would be. Yes, coffee, etc. is on every corner but you have to walk and eat.
Negatives: 2 out of 3 staff who knocked on my door tried to walk right in before getting a response. Fortunately, I had lock on. Also, in room safe didn't work and battery door on tv remote kept falling off.

Positives: Decent location, short walk to subway. Free breakfast, although its just muffins and cheap yogurt every morning.
Negatives: For several nights the shower water isnt hot enough, thats simply unacceptable. Chair in the room is also broken. Poorly maintained place. They even got a notice, they havent paid their water bill for a year and is about to lose water.

Positives: The location was great and the staff were kind, especially the sweet bellboy. He is a really kind and a true gem. The front staff person was nice too. I can tell the young boy is a good person.
Negatives: The bed was terrible and the bathroom was very outdated. The solace was its location.
