Positives:
super central to Time Sq and Central Park, close to everything you want to see in NY - Broadway, food, Rockefeller Centre, 5th Avenue shops..its all walking distance from hotel
Negatives:
N/A old school hotel, old school big and busy and we loved that..so nothing we didn't like and our king size bed and suite with view of Time Square was amazing! Thank you to the staff who helped us out. we really appreciated the extra effort ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Location is the number 1 thing surely great about this hotel.
Staff are nice, approachable and helpful.
Negatives:
Noise. They need to renovate all windows and install a sound proofed glass. We are in USA and 500 years beyond the Industrial Revolution but still Times Square Sheraton Hotel windows are of those 1900 somewhere in the desert.
Being in this hotel at night is like having a bed on the curbside, speaking of street noise getting the room.

The room was not very clean. Also, coming from Europe, only after arrival I learned they require a physical credit card in order to check-in. I only had cash or Apple Pay and they refused to check me in. They almost sent me onto the street after arriving from Europe! Terrible experience.

Great location, OK hotel
Positives:
This hotel is perfectly placed in the heart of Manhattan, with Times square, central park etc. all within easy walking distance. The rooms are clean and comfortable for NYC. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and found the room had more than enough space, although you are in NYC so time spent in the room is minimal! We had a high floor with a great view of the city. There is a $30 resort fee per night, which can be redeemed against food or drink in the hotel (check-in staff didn't tell me this, but the excellent staff at the Library Bar did), so we used it to have early evening drinks before heading out for the night.
Negatives:
The reception staff at check-in were not the most helpful. Literally just took my card and gave me my room key without explaining the resort fee, or the increased charge they put against your card to cover 'incidentals'. We checked in early and our room wasn't ready so they promised to text me when it became free, but the text message never came. Not a big issue, but would expect a bit more of a welcome from Sheraton reception staff.
